Melissa Moore
Executive Assistant to the Executive Director
Melissa Moore serves as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director at the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, where she provides executive-level support for agency operations and serves as a liaison to the nine Commissioners of the Commission.
With nearly 20 years of experience in law enforcement administration, higher education, public safety communications, and executive leadership support, Melissa has held key administrative and operational roles within universities, municipal law enforcement agencies, and state government organizations. Her professional background includes expertise in executive communications, organizational coordination, public engagement, and strategic operational support.
Melissa holds a Master of College Student Development from St. Edward's University and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Iowa. She resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband, a Lieutenant in law enforcement. Together, they share a family of five children and are proud grandparents to one grandson.
