Public Information Officer Certification
The Public Information Officer Certification is a 3-day course beginning on August 11 – 13 (Tuesday – Thursday) from 8 AM – 5 PM each day. Attendance to all three days is required. TDEM is providing the training and certification. The cost for this training is $450. As a PIO Certification attendee, you will have access to the conference breaks and to the Exhibit Hall and social events scheduled during the conference. No meals are provided.

- Please Note: When you go into My TCOLE to pay, select Conference Registration. It will not say PIO Certification. That is ok. The invoice you receive after completing the registration will indicate that you are attending the PIO course.
- If you are a training cooridinator and required to attend this conference, you must make sure you have an authorized designee registered to attend the Training Conference sessions. The PIO Certification does not meet the contractual requirements.
A Public Information Officer Certification Agenda will be provided at the beginning of the course.
